Welcome to the KAIST Humanoid Robot Research Center (Hubo Lab). We are a research center composed of multiple labs affiliated with Mechanical Engineering. These labs are unified with the sole vision of advancing state of the art robot capabilities in control, system design, and intelligence.
With over 20 years of research, KAIST Hubo Lab has become a renown research institute for developing autonomous systems and robots. Hubo Lab has received significant spotlight after winning the DARPA Robotics Challenge in 2015. In addition, Hubo Lab is recognized for developing the KHR humanoid platform as well as the FX robot that showcased in the Pyeongchang Olympics in 2018.
